Chicks-For-Gays: Eat Well for Good
This Friday, August 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 pm, come enjoy Science Club’s vegan version of the now-notorious Chik-fil-A sandwich – free from preservatives, suffering, and homophobia.
The Chicks-For-Gays meal special includes the veggie version of the sandwich, with fries and drink for $15 ($20 with an alcoholic drink). All profits from sales are to benefit the LGBT DC Center.
This event represents everything that is good and just and delicious in the world. I can’t express how happy it makes me.

Did anyone else go to this last month? Two coworkers and I went and it was not a good experience. The bread this sandwich came on wasn’t even vegan, and neither were a few other components. I asked beforehand (assuming it would be vegan, or at the least a vegetarian place would know what vegan is) and the bartender was clueless. They had to remake my plate. Very disappointing. Glad to have supported the cause, but will never go back to Science Club.
