Get Ready for DC VegFest!

Posted by on Sep 19, 2012 in Events, News | 3 comments

This Saturday, September 22nd, from 11-6, join Compassion Over KillingVSDC and a few thousand of your closest veg-friendly neighbors at the 4th annual DC VegFest

The free event is moving to a bigger venue (the spacious Yards Park near Nationals Stadium) in order to expand their amazing line-up of events.  This year, enjoy over 100 exhibitors — including more than a dozen food vendors, a beer and wine garden hosted by Bread & Brew, free vegan food samples, cooking demos and talks, an expanded kids’ activity area, doggy stations, and much more .  Be sure not to miss everyone’s favorite: the cupcake eating contest judged by Sticky Fingers‘ Doron Petersan.

Get there early, as the first 1,000 attendees receive a free tote bag loaded with oodles of veg-friendly goodness!

And don’t forget, Sunday is your chance to get up close and personal with VegFest speakers during brunch at Muse, where over 60% of ticket sale proceeds will directly benefit the DC VegFest.

    Thanks
