Starting next week, February 6, through February 13, Casa Oaxaca and sister restaurant Guajillo Grill are celebrating Meat-Free Week!  They have created a delicious menu featuring “The Three Sisters” — corn, beans, and squash — the basic ingredients of indigenous  Mexico.

Patrons joining Casa Oaxaca and Guajillo Grill during Meat-Free Week will enjoy a three-course menu, featuring items like grilled cactus paddles, black mole enchiladas, and hot chocolate thickened with masa and flavored with cinnamon and brown sugar.  Personally, we can’t wait to try the Tres Leches cake, which Casa Oaxaca calls a “twist on our traditional sponge cake, soaked in coconut milk.”  Mmm!
