September Vegan Dining Specials in the DC Area

From September 17 – September 22, Cedar will be featuring a Chef’s Vegan Tasting Menu, featuring grilled watermelon, fried green tomatoes, king trumpet mushrooms, cherry cotton candy, chocolate, and more!

And don’t miss Bangkok Golden‘s New Tasting Menu, beginning September 9.  Bangkok Golden is a Laotian/Thai Restaurant in  Seven Corners, Falls Church, and their new tasting menu options will include an entirely vegan tasting!

    Three of us went to Cedar for the last tasting menu and all agreed it was just okay. They had no idea what to do with tofu, and the meal overall was really bland and uninspiring. The desserts were great though. Service was wonderful. Hope they’ve improved the flavor combinations.

    We went to Bangkok Golden last night and it was incredible, one of the best meals we’ve ever had. HIGHLY recommended. Definitely worth the trip out to Falls Church.

    I went to Cedar last night with two others, and our table loved our meals. The waitress shared that they’re now smoking the tofu, which made it literally melt in the mouth.
